Interior Timber Framed Railing
This 26'x30' cottage is located outside Winchester, Virginia. The Mortise and Tenon timber frame bent is 19'x30' and was milled and handmade by Rock Ridge Contracting out of Black Oak logs. Mortise and tenon joinery has been around for centuries, it is very sturdy and eliminates the need of nails or screws to hold it together.
